 Surfing. Villagio Apartments on Lefkada Island
The beach of Agios Ioannis is 300 metres far from Villagio and it is considered as one of the best beaches in Europe for windsurf and kitesurf.
Till noon, the sea is calm but in the afternoon the north western wind creates the appropriate conditions for these sports.
Windsurf and kitesurf competitions, even European competitions, are held every year.
